Henryetta Louise Payne

Henryetta L. (Rusow) Payne, 76, of Lexington, passed away January 24, 2019 at her home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. Visitation will be Monday, January 28, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Machpelah Cemetery, Lexington. Memorials may be made to Machpelah Cemetery or Kindred Hospice.

Henryetta was born October 29, 1942 in Metz, Missouri to Ira and Georgedine (McGinnis) Rusow. She married Kenneth Payne March 5, 1966 in Lexington. He preceded her in death September 21, 2010. Henryetta was self-employed with her husband as care takers of Machpelah Cemetery from 1972 until 2004. They also owned and operated a restaurant in Lexington from 1980 until 1984. Before retiring, she worked for B & L Bank of Lexington.

Henryetta is survived by four children, Jeff Payne and wife Karen of Lexington, William "Willy" Payne and wife Sherry of Lexington, Christine Calvert of Lexington, and Michael Payne of Excelsior Springs; one sister Gatha Roth of Peculiar, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and brother and sister in laws. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Kenneth; brother, Harvey Rusow; and sister, Elsie Howard.
