Grace Emma Thilking

Grace Emma Thilking, 84, of Napoleon, passed away July 5, 2018 at Oak Grove Nursing and Rehab. Funeral services will be Monday, July 9, 2018 at 10:00am at Ebenezer United Church of Christ in Levasy. Visitation will be Sunday, July 8, 2018, 6:00 to 8:00pm at the church. Burial will be at Ebenezer UCC Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Crossroads Hospice or Ebenezer United Church of Christ.

Grace was born March 3, 1934 in Buckner to Dan and Ida (Dickmeyer) Heman. She married Fred Thilking on February 15, 1953. Grace worked as a cook at Wellington-Napoleon School for 23 years. She was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ, the Choir and Women's Fellowship, and the Red Hat Society.

Grace is survived by her husband, Fred, of the home; sons, Harold Thilking and wife Debbie of Napoleon and Dale Thilking and wife Kathy of Napoleon; grandchildren, Shelly, Daniel, Clint, Cody and Caleb; great grandson, Hudson; brother, Lawrence Heman and wife Adeline; sister in law, Carol Heman; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ralph Heman.
