    Grace Elizabeth (James) Derleth

    July 13, 1921 - July 3, 2021

    Grace Elizabeth (James) Derleth, 99 of Dover, Missouri passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Meyer Care Center in Higginsville, MO. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 11, 2021, at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 S. St., Lexington, MO, 64067, 660-259-2245. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 11, 2021, at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials are suggested to a charity of donor’s choice. Memoires of Grace and condolences for her family may be left at www.LedfordFamilyFH.com or on our Facebook Page. Grace was born on July 13, 1921, in Lexington, MO to Louis and Ann (Lambert) James. She graduated from Waverly High School in Waverly, MO. On June 29, 1940, she married Joseph Leslie Derleth in Boonville, MO. He later preceded her in death on March 21, 1996. Grace was a member of the Dover Christian Church in Dover, MO. In addition to being a homemaker, Grace also worked at Rasa Orchards for a short time and at S&K in Lexington for 13 years. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Grace enjoyed gardening, sewing crocheting, fishing, puzzles, and scrabble. Survivors include three children; Pat Jenkins of Higginsville, MO, Joe Derleth and wife Terry of Dover, MO and Jan Schuster and husband Bob of Blackburn, MO; a son-in-law, Steve Roncelli of Higginsville, MO; 12 grandchildren, David Roncelli, Danny Roncelli (Leslie), Robbie Roncelli (Michelle), Deanna Jenkins (Mike), Debbie Dorsey (Rick), Nancy Williams (Darin), Troy Jenkins, Christina Orf (Kenny), Jamie Crabtree (Steve), Joey Derleth, Bo Schuster (Tina), and BreeAnna Behrends (Jeremy); several great and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Grace was preceded in death by three children, Richard L. Derleth, Robert W. Derleth, and Carolyn S. Roncelli; a great-grandson, Nicholas Seitz; three sisters, Betty Billings, Louise Weedin, and Marlene Toon; and four brothers, Edward James, Ralph James, Melvin James, and Harold James.
