Ellen Loree Jones

Ellen Loree (McPherson) Jones, 60, of Wellington passed away November 25, 2019 at the University of Kansas Medical Center. A funeral service will be at 12:30 pm, Monday, December 2, 2019 at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. Visitation will also be on Monday at the funeral home from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm. Ellen was born August 13, 1959 in Lexington to Ira and Velma (Roberts) McPherson. She graduated from North Kansas City High School. She worked as a dispatcher for Bridge Terminal Transport in Kansas City. On January 30, 1982 she married John Jones in Lexington. Ellen enjoyed fishing, gardening, canning and her dogs. She attended First Baptist Church in Lexington.

Ellen is survived by her husband John, of the home; daughter, Dana Jordan of Nebraska; grandchildren, Morgan and Camryn Ceradsky; brothers, Donald McPherson of North Carolina and Dale McPherson of Trenton, Missouri; and sister, Jackie Sharp of Gladstone, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Daniel Kost; brother, Darrell McPherson; and sister Helen Swope.
