Edmond Lee Stryker, 58, of Lexington passed away November 2, 2021 at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, Kansas. Visitation will be Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 3:00 until 6:00 pm at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. A graveside service will be Monday, November 8, 2021 at 12:00 pm at the Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery, Higginsville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Honor Flight. Memories and condolences may be left at www.LedfordFamilyFH.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South Street, Lexington, MO 64067, 660-259-2245.

Ed was born June 13, 1963 in Independence to Patricia Stryker Lord. He graduated from Grandview High School and attended Kansas State University, earning a Masters Degree in Engineering. In 1982, Ed joined the United States Army and served until his retirement in 2003. He served as a helicopter pilot and earned many awards. He then worked at Wentworth Military Academy for over ten years. Ed was a member of Lexington VFW Post 4052 and chaperoned over 20 honor flights to Washington D.C. He also served on the Lexington City Council. Every Sunday found him playing golf with his son, brother and cousin. Ed enjoyed watching baseball and football and took a great interest in his education and in helping others.

Survivors include, his mother Patricia Stryker Lord of Warrensburg; children, Kevin Stryker and wife Heather of Overland Park, Kansas and Rebekah Stryker-Golden and husband John of Georgetown, Texas; and brother, Shawn Stryker of Lexington.
