Dixie Gay (Baker) Miller, 74, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at her home.
The family will host a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 13, 2021, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Hilltop at Berry Acres, 6824 MO-131, Odessa, MO, 64076. Dixie was born on January 28, 1947, to Clyde and Elsie (Elwood) Baker in Pleasantville, Iowa. She graduated from High School in Pueblo, Colorado. On April 28, 1969, Dixie was united in marriage to William Miller. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Dixie enjoyed reading and watching sports.
Survivors include a son, Eric Miller (Rebecca) of Odessa, Missouri; a daughter, Amy Goodmon (Robert) of Liberty, Missouri; a sister, Dorothy Lockett of Coolidge, Kansas; a brother, Don Baker (Geraldine) of Altoona, Iowa; five grandchildren, Olivia, Mitchell, Zack, Cole, and Brooke; and many relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, William, Dixie was preceded in death by her parents.
