Elaine Murry

Elaine Murry, 78, of Dover passed away October 17, 2021 at Apple Ridge Care Center in Waverly. There will be a graveside service at 2:00 pm, Thursday, October 21, 2021 at the Dover Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 pm at the cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Shriner’s Hospitals for Children, Memories and condolences may be left at www.LedfordFamilyFH.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South Street, Lexington, MO 64067, 660-259-2245.

Elaine was born March 29, 1943 in Higginsville to Jack and Letha Maude (Ryun) Maycock. She graduated from Lexington High School. On November 23, 1962 she married Ralph Lauran Murry, He preceded her in death November 7, 1988. Elaine worked for Small Transportation and was a member if the Dover Christian Church. She enjoyed going to her grandchildren’s events, cooking, gardening, traveling and collecting Native American artifacts.

Survivors include her sons, Greg Murry and wife Pam of Dover and Trevor Murry and wife Summer of Stover, Missouri; grandchildren, Tyler Murry, Colebie Murry and fiancé Katlind Raney, Blayne Murry and fiancé, Audrey Rankin, Paige Burns and husband Ryan, Brooke Murry, Chloee Murry and Mackenzie Humphreys and fiancé Cole Deardeuff; sister, Bernice Shier of Higginsville; brother, Donald Maycock and wife Shirley of Waverly; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and brothers, Junior, Jack, Tommy, Kenny and Larry Maycock.
