Carroll LaVerne Hoffman, 87, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at home.
A graveside service will be held on Friday April 23, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., at the Odessa Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Odessa Cemetery Association. Carroll was born on March 8, 1934 in Elmer, MO to Samuel and Mary (Helton) Hoffman. He married Ellen Joyce Wakeman on May 18, 1984 in Kansas City, MO. After 20 years of service Carroll retired from Associated Basement Co in Grain Valley, MO. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Carroll enjoyed helping take care of his grandchildren.
Survivors include Carroll’s wife, Joyce (Wakeman) Hoffman of Odessa, MO; five children, Kelvin Hoffman and wife Tina of La Plata, MO, Gayla Hoffman of Council Bluffs, IA, Dean Hoffman and wife Laurie of Omaha, NE, Sheryl Danner of Kansas City, MO and Scott Loges and wife Carrie of Excelsior Springs, MO; six grandsons, four granddaughters, three great-grandsons, and 1 great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Carroll was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
