Aloma “Lou” Ray, 64 of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the St. Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City, MO.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to The Grey Muzzle Organization, 14460 Falls of Neuse Rd., Suite 149-269, Raleigh, North Carolina, 27614. Lou was born on February 10, 1955 in Kansas City, KS to Donald Clifford and Billie Louise (Dunkleberger) Freeman. After high school she attended Cosmetology School. Lou retired from Craig Sharp Homes as an office manager in Augusta, KS. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Lou loved her dogs, cooking, gardening, but most of all being a mom and grandma.

Survivors include two children, Brian Freeman of Odessa, MO and Darcie Ziesenis and husband Waylon of Eudora, KS; two grandchildren, Tyler Freeman and Sydney Elmer; and one brother, Don Freeman of Belton, MO.

Lou was preceded in death by her parents.
